I think there are valid points to be made about 4.X vs 5.X vs 6.X (which is why, for the sake of being informative, I wrote an article about it). Performance was also discussed extensively at BSDCan, and a lot of work was done on improvements and ideas were discussed for the next steps to make (e.g.: actual work, not just talk). This work is continuing. But as long as you keep the above tone, I and everyone else who is actually doing the work to advance the project will just ignore you; because, frankly, there's too much work to do and in any case, life is just too short. (I intend to do just that from now on, so I will not be adding any more to this thread. You may have the "last word", if that kind of thing is important to you.)
