If that AGP card is Quadro based it may not be supported by any of the native drivers in X4. (Does the SVGA driver work?) Also, try some of the various X setup tools in the Configure section of /stand/sysinstall - the textual xf86config tool (which you're using indirectly above) is great once you know what you need, but can be a real PITA as a debugging aid. The Quadro cards are a real pain in BSD as there are no native NVidia drivers (yet).
