I've recently purchased a Hercules Game Theatre XP and it gets horrible performance in FreeBSD. In windows with the drivers the sound is beautiful. There is a lot of crackling in FreeBSD. I'm suspecting that it is a driver problem. My dmesg is below. Is there a driver for this card in FreeBSD? I've looked around for a linux driver, but apparently there isn't one either. If not I would be willing to help anyone code/test a driver.
