I have FreeBSD 4.7-RELEASE installed on a Pentium III machine and I installed OpenOffice but when ever I try and open up a Word2000 document that I saved on my Windows machine, OpenOffice closes sayin an unrecoverable error. Has anyone else experienced this and know what's causing it? Or how to find out what's causing it?
