Well, I've been having the same exact problem as Constatine posted, so when I got home tonite and looked up the last error displayed here on google. Turns out that it means that IPDIVERT option isn't set in the kernel. Funny because I thought I had compiled it in, recompiling the kernel now, and I am hoping this will make all my problems go away.The last two lines from dmesg:
IP packet filtering initialized, divert disabled, rule-based forwarding enabled, default to deny, logging disabled
ip_fw_ctl: invalid command
