Only hassle i had with a Live FreeBSD distro was setting up the network.
In linux its "ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.1" what would the command be in
FreeBSD ?
Any thing else to look for ?
Try running "dhclient". This will do the right thing for most well-configured networks.
Beyond that, look at dmesg, or do an "ifconfig -a" to see all of the NICs present in your machine.
