This despite both the drives and 80-pin cables are supposedly ATA100 capable. Tried several cables which make Leenucks and Windows XP pronounce the drives as operating in UDMA5/ATA100 mode and the BIOS of the Intel D850GB board says the cable is 80 conductor and the Ultra DMA mode is 5.
