Downloaded the 320-bitmap but still no luck : I get beastie and the startup menu and then the messages from the bootup come... But thx for the info ! Little follow-up... Just checked dmesg and found this : module_register_init: MOD_LOAD (splash_bmp, 0xc0a23810, 0) error 2 But my /var/log/messages shows nothing. -- Beni.
