        Nada.  Either the transformer isn't working or the unit 
        itseld is defective.  Or *both*.  That's what comes with
        "AS-IS".

        How can i be sure that my dual USB ports are working?  
        Is "usbstats" (?) the right utility?  Again, I know 0.0
        about USB.
