Hi,

I've been sup'ing a few different trees for a little while now, and I'm
wondering: is it possible to do all at once with the same supfile?
Something like:

*default host=CHANGE_THIS.FreeBSD.org
*default base=/var/db
*default prefix=/usr
*default release=cvs tag=RELENG_5_3
*default release=cvs tag=RELENG_5_4
*default release=cvs tag=RELENG_6
*default delete use-rel-suffix

this can't be the correct syntax, but is this practicable?

You need a different prefix for each tag. You'll still want to set your defaults, then override them as necessary, like this:

src-all prefix=/foo tag=RELENG_5
src-all prefix=/bar tag=RELENG_6
