Hi there,

I just installed 5.5 for the first time and I am trying to make sure that SMP is operating properly. The kernel I have loaded is rebuilt with SMP support. okay the dmesg is showing two logical CPUs. I actually only have one CPU as you can tell by the boot information. I am wondering why top is always displaying '0' in the C column? on my 4.11 machines that number is set to 0 or 1 depending on the logical CPU that is accessed.
