1. Check your ipfw rules to make sure that the firewall setup will not block incoming telnet or ftp connections. 2. Edit /etc/rc.conf and enable inetd (if it isn't enabled already). 3. Edit /etc/inetd.conf and uncomment ftp & telnet services. 4. Start (or restart, if it's already running) inetd.
