Do this:

rcorder -s nostart /etc/rc.d/*

/etc/rc.d/ipfw

Does ppp show up?  If not then there is the problem.  As to WHY .. well you'd
have to ask the developer.

But If I was trouble-shooting to get it to work until the developer of rcorder
got back with me, I this I'd do it this way:
