I'm sorry but rich media is a fact in the web, and you can't ignore it.

Flash is used with Yahoo! maps, and so with alot of useful apps like
stocks prices ..etc.

Instead of ignoring it, we should see it ported to FreeBSD.

Flash is a decent media, but it just gets abused like any other form of web-based media. Same goes for Javascript, Java, and even HTML. Flash is just easier to abuse than Java and Javascript because of the tools and delivery of content (audio and video, etc).
