So it's been a while now and though I had a couple of weird "pauses" (console work, but any vfs access seemed to hang for several seconds) a couple of times in the very beginning, I don't know if they had anything to do with the controller. I have been running for almost a week now, doing rsyncs, rdiff-backup:s and generally mucking about fairly significantly. Aside from the above mentioned problem that happened way in the beginning, I have not had a single problem with it.
