Hi everyone,

I'm working on FreeBSD 6.2 and my question is, it is possible to use the
periodic.conf file in /usr/local/etc/ directory ?

Yes, of course.

My second question, if i create a empty periodic.conf, it is possible to
include the /etc/defaults/periodic.conf file with a command line by
example

include /etc/defaults/periodic.conf ?

It isn't needed. The /etc/defaults conf files are always parsed. They are overridden by any settings in the corresponding file in /etc.
