Anybody got suggestions on what kind of hard drive to buy for my new main server--if is *is* the drive? The video board began flaking out recently, and now "tao2" is hanging part way up.
It crashed about an hour ago and I let fsck finish before doing a shutdown -r now. It took several minutes to boot and is still fsck'ing /. This time the display is very large, but the processor is extremely slow; it reminds me of a 386-33! So a logical question here is, what could cause an otherwise very fast Dell-8200 to switch back to s-l-o-w?? thanks, guys, gary -- Gary Kline [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.thought.org Public Service Unix http://jottings.thought.org http://transfinite.thought.org _______________________________________________ freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
