I have just installed FreeBSD 6.3 on my machine. I keep seeing these messages

cpu0: Cx states changed
cpu1: Cx states changed

in somewhat random intervals, specially at startup. What are they?
Should I be worried? Thanks

You CPU is changing states as part of power management/thermal management. There are sysctl variables to set these values if you don't want the state to change, or to control is finer.

Look at your dmesg output for how many states your CPU supports.
