There are some OS hacks such a gnash and swfdec but the same to very under powered... for example most custom apps that use 9 can't run on either one and some flash 7+ stuff kills them... so welecome to the wonderful world of flash on FreeBSD (there are about 50 to 100 people I know of that are waiting for a working version that beats 7)
