No it's configured correctly. See /usr/share/mk/bsd.cpu.mk > Maybe some amd64 configuration is possible, since it the cpu has AMD features? If you want amd64, you should have installed the amd64 architecture. But remember that some ports (e.g. flash plugin) are only available for the i386 architecture.
