% grep ' ORIGIN:' /var/db/pkg/webfonts-0.30_6/+CONTENTS @comment ORIGIN:x11-fonts/webfonts The reason I think it might be the issue, is that in your installations 'verdana' is an aliased screen font, that doesn't print well. The Microsoft variant installed via this port, has better printing characteristics. The Luxi/Luci fonts, are very pixelated.
