I recently built a new system, and it has a SATA DVD drive in it. Everything appeared to be working at first, but I have run into some issues reading/playing encrypted DVDs as well as burncd.
Here's some dmseg output: kldload atapicam: (probe0:ata5:0:0:0): TEST UNIT READY. Anyone have any clues? Not sure if this is a drive incompatibility or a lack of features in the driver... uname: FreeBSD magus 7.2-PRERELEASE FreeBSD 7.2-PRERELEASE #8 Thanks, -- Richard Kolkovich sarum...@sigil.org
