Just trying to point out the options, and that a one-line change in xorg.conf is lower impact than rebuilding xorg-server.

There are other "workarounds" to get the default stuff working again (option Don't-Zap for example), so X installations relying on xorg.conf can work again.

Since some defaults have changed in newer versions of xorg, that last sentence is confusing. Maybe

  s/default stuff working again/legacy behavior/
  s/work/work as expected/
