You will have to download a version of freebsd-update for 6.2. There are instructions here: http://www.freebsd.org/releases/6.3R/announce.html under "FreeBSD Update". and also more details on C. Percival's blog: http://www.daemonology.net/blog/2007-11-10-freebsd-minor-version-upgrade.html Done this for 6.2 to 6.3 back in the day, and it worked fine. I believe you will have no trouble going to 6.4 as well. Just a quick note: Make sure you have enough space under /var. There is a /var/freebsd-update directory there that holds a lot of data during the upgrade, and later releases always bring in more data. If /var is mostly full, symlink /var/freebsd-update somewhere in /usr.
