I use this function to retrieve a list of network interfaces on a system. This works well enough with one exception--here seems to be multiple entries for each of the interfaces, and the data in the duplicate entries isn't the same. What is the proper way to filter the list of structures returned by getifaddrs? Is there a better way to get this same information?
