Hi Reggie, Have you upgraded your system with freebsd-update or csup recently? Did you install PostgreSQL from a binary package or build it in the ports tree? This is a thread from someone with the same problem, although a different application: http://forums.freebsd.org/showthread.php?t=6661 It sounds like a fresh rebuild from the ports tree might fix the problem, but YMMV.
