Same thing. For video surveillance I caputure video from a camera with: $ /usr/local/bin/mencoder tv:// -tv driver=bsdbt848:noaudio:norm=NTSC:input=1 -nosound -o 2010-02-10.20-41-18.avi -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=400 -really-quiet Stop the acquisition wil a kill -TERM. The file output is: $ file 2010-02-10.20-41-18.avi 2010-02-10.20-41-18.avi: RIFF (little-endian) data, AVI, 640 x 480, ~30 fps, video: FFMpeg MPEG-4 Best regards, Olivier _______________________________________________ freebsd-questions@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-questions To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-questions-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
