I have Apache 1.3 running on my system. It's running fine and has been for several years.
I find that I'm in need of also have a secure https session (as well as my regular web sites).
So I set out to learn about Apache13+mod_ssl. There are tons of documents available, and
they are all very good. Only problem is that none (that I can find) tell you how to integrate any
of the new settings. I first went to /usr/ports/www/apache13+mod_ssl and did a
make && make install && make clean.
Everything worked fine, no errors at all. New httpds.conf file was created. My question
is how do I integrate it to my current httpd.conf file? Or do I have to uninstall the
original apache13 first and then re-install apache13+mod_ssl ?
If I do that, will I lose my current httpd.conf settings?

I worry about my child and the Internet all the time, even though she's too young to have logged on yet. Here's what I worry about. I worry that 10 or 15 years from now, she will come to me and say "Daddy, where were you when they took freedom of the press away from the Internet?" -- Mike Godwin
