Thanks. It sounds like the same problem, but we're using a dvd burned from an iso downloaded from freebsd.org just today. It sounds like the commits you are talking about should already be in there. Is there something else I need to be doing?
The commits are not in 8.3-RELEASE. You need -STABLE at least as recent as 5/21/2012.
