I used dd to cover a whole new disk; bad idea. I installed 9.1-R, and the install CD said all was OK. Yet I was unable to mount any of it. fdisk seemed happy, and could read and write. bsdlabel returned "unable to get correct path for ada0s1 (same for ada01)".
