Might help... http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-questions/2012-June/241956.html In addition, I'll add that you don't necessarily have to boot FreeBSD... what I'll often do is boot DruidBSD and run the "Hardware Detection Tool" or "HDT" by Ewan Velu: http://sourceforge.net/projects/druidbsd/files/Druid-0.0.iso/download That will allow me to get the vendor/device hex values that identify the card you want to support.
