I just set up FreeBSD 5.0 on my PC and am configuring XFree86. Thus far everything is peachy except for one thing - all of the visual elements when I start X (the windows, the fonts, etc) appear huge on screen to the point where they're not really unusable. It looks like the screen area was set to 640 x 480 when it should be 1024 x 768, but I'm having trouble figuring out why this is happening. The only error message I've found shows up when I shut down X, it reads:
xauth: (argv):1: bad display name ":0" in "remove" command I've also been pouring through the Config file, but I haven't seen anything that looks like a culprit. My monitor settings are as follows: Identifier "NEC Monitor" HorizSync 31.5 - 60 VertRefresh 56.2 - 75.1 DisplaySize 304 228 Any help on this would be much appreciated.
