Grab an ISO image and burn it _as_an_image_ ... see the docs for your burning software on how to do this (each software is different). http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/mirrors.html Also read the installation docs in the handbook (link above) on other methods of installing.
