I have a question about RAID software. Is there such a thing, and if so is
there a ported RAID package that is compadible with SCSI?
Sure. There's vinum for one, and there appears to be reasonable support for vendor hardware RAID utilities via Linux emulation for a number of SCSI RAID products.
