dear list yesterday evening i fliped through the developers handbook x86 assenbler section. it states that an assembler compile is part of the base system (http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/developers-handbook/x86-the-tools.html). i can't find it on 5.1-R.
