When manufacturers talk about drive size, they use base 10. When computer report drive size, they use base 2. So, if you divide 200,000,000 bytes by ( 1024 * 1024 ), you get roughly 190gig in binary, so off the bat you lose 10gigs of space due to marketspeak translation. FreeBSD reserves 8% for something (I forget what), so that brings it down to 174gig.
