Any ideas what's wrong, and how to fix?
Try installing GD on it's own first - uninstalling first if it's already installed. If that doesn't work it's probably worth checking to see if someone else has submitted a PR for this problem here: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr-summary.cgi Perhaps submit your own PR report if you're sure it's a bug - you'd probably want to try reproducing the error on a different machine first though.
