Was wondering what everyones most used programs are or programs you just can't live without ( just looking for some new toys to play with)

I also remember a thread a bsdforums.org called something like "what X app can you not live without" that had a few goodies in it.
For me: Eterm, Xterm, Acroread, Gimp Mozilla, TextMaker, SciTE, Xmms, Mplayer and some of the little Gnome baubles...
