Hello All,
I'm a freebsd newbie and did something really stupid.
I accidently deleted everything in my /etc/mail directory. I went into /usr/share/sendmail/cf/cf and read the readme file. It said to do a make install-cf to create the sendmail.mc file and submit.mc file. I get the following error: make: don't know how to make install-cf. STOP
I'm i doing something wrong? Is there an easier way to do this?

For "make install-cf" to work you need to be in /etc/mail :)
"mergemaster -i" should be able to fix your problem, assuming you have the source code for the version of FreeBSD you are currently running installed in /usr/src
