Hello,
I am trying to start big brother on FreeBSD 5.2.1 as the bb user. When I run runbb.sh I get the following message:
"Out of file descriptors"
sysctl reports:
kern.maxfiles: 10000 kern.maxusers: 256
I can change the kern.maxfiles attribute but not the maxusers. Maxusers tells me it is not writable. What is the proper way to correct this problem;
Set kern.maxusers="xxx" in /boot/loader.conf. See /boot/defaults/loader.conf for more details.
.
Thanks in advance for any help.
