Hello, Thanks, i tried make rmconfig in lang/php4 and www/mod_php4 and in both cases it said i had no user defined options. I have also tried using only the -a and the -ar options to portupgrade, and adding to the make args line for mod_php4 -DWITH_MYSQL=no all of this has not worked it is still trying to install mysql. Please keep the suggestions coming. Dave.
