The upgrade may have resulted in a later version, as my system is showing a libintl.so.6: > ls /usr/local/lib/libintl.so* /usr/local/lib/libintl.so /usr/local/lib/libintl.so.6 What would happen if a link called /usr/local/lib/libintl.so.5 was created to point to the existing libintl.so.* file on Gerry's system?
