Why in single-user mode I have direct acces to the root account?
Why the system does not ask for a password to enter in single-user
mode?
single user mode can be used to recover your root password among other things.
if you want to be prompted for a password, look for this line in /etc/ttys: console none unknown off secure
and change secure to insecure.
