Check the output of sockstat(1). 111 is rpcbind, needed for NFS, FAM, and some other things. 1023 is also NFS-related, IIRC. -- I abhor a system designed for the "user", if that word is a coded pejorative meaning "stupid and unsophisticated". -- Ken Thompson - Unix is user friendly.
