Looks like everything is going along well. Would have been nice if they had modified the old makefile to put up a note that said something like "We're moving stuff around. If you want to build extensions, go to /usr/ports/lang/php4-extensions."
Have a look at /usr/ports/UPDATING and /usr/src/UPDATING after cvsup. You will find notes about these things there.
