1. What are you trying to do? What sort of device are you talking about? I'm afraid I don't understand your question.
2. What does not work? Please include any error messages you are seeing. The places to look at is probably /var/log/messages
3. Tell us which version of FreeBSD you are running.
Without that information it is nearly impossible to tell what went wrong. After you provide more information, I'm sure you will get some help.
