Um, what the hell. em the most widely used? I hardly would consider the gigabit eth driver most intel chips the most widely used. rl, ed, fxp by far seem to be the majority of the share I have observed. In fact, I didn't even know the em driver till you mentioned it. Being a network admin and dealing with many and various machines, I see quite a few nics.
