No..make sure you verify the md5 sum of the iso image, per the instructions. It's common for boot problems to be caused by corrupted cd images. You probably want to use 5.3 instead of 5.2.1 on amd64 though - it should be out later this week (or you could try installing the latest release candidate). Kris
