I have working my Epson C84 in FreeBSD 5.3 perfectly with CUPS and gimp -print.
Just curious. ¿What is the matter with CUPS?. I do not understand well what "GPL-crutch" means. I seems that you hate CUPS. My english is not good. Please explain it to me.
