The following seems to work for me:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/root> mount_smbfs //odo/"Temp Dir" /mnt
Password:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/root> mount | grep smbfs
//[EMAIL PROTECTED]/TEMP DIR on /mnt (smbfs)
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/root>
